Accomplished essayists use language and structure to effectively communicate their ideas with a large audience. Written expression is a powerful tool that we can use to inspire, persuade, or storytell for an audience. In this course, we will engage with multiple types of writing genres and audiences, including fictional stories, critiques and reviews, and even podcasts or scripts. Students will have many opportunities to explore how writing is an extension of their unique voice and holds immense power to communicate.
